In the second year of my degree we were set a project based around Magazine Design where we focused on trend forecasting and editorial styling. The brief was to create your own version of a magazine which would feature content focused around trends that you'd researched and predicted for 2019. 

I choose to design my own version of ELLE Decoration and create a styled photoshoot and trend report on 'Granny Chic' which discussed the revival of maximalism and nostalgia in design and interiors.

Creating my own version of ELLE Decoration was the first project that really got me into graphical design and combining this with styling, which developed my passion for creating interior based content.

This project was trend led and really improved my styling, InDesign and Photoshop skills.

Throughout the project I created trend predictions/concepts, styled multiple photoshoots, wrote a trend report, designed the graphics/layout for the magazine and created adverts for the company Linwood that featured in the magazine.
