Homeaware

Feb - Aug 2020

Homeaware Key Images.jpg

For my final self-directed project at Plymouth College of Art I decided to create a hypothetical brand called ‘homeaware’. The aim of the brand was to bring more awareness to sustainable interior and lifestyle products through graphical content, specified products and a styled launch event. It’s purpose was to support and promote eco-conscious companies whilst encouraging consumers to consider swapping to more sustainable products.

In this project I created a ‘homeaware’ booklet giving insight on the brand and educating people on the Circular Economy concept. Alongside this was the ‘homeaware’ promo box which featured 6 key sustainable products that could easily be swapped into your daily routine. I showcased both of these elements at a brand launch event which I designed, styled and photographed.

Key skills I developed:

Graphic Design

Event Design

Styling Experience

Problem Solving and Adaptation (COVID)

Sourcing Products

Photography Insight

Composition and Layout

Branding Design

Concept Research

Styled Event

Homeaware Box Featured Products

Graphical Content

Design Boards

I've documented the key final outcomes from the project although it also included a lot of technical work creating: GAs, Elevations, Digital Visuals, FF&E, Call Sheets, Materials Boards etc.

I have a blog post which showcases these elements and the development of the project in more detail...
